Testing is an essential phase in the electric motor winding process, ensuring that the finished motor meets the required technical standards.
The objective of testing is to identify defects, verify electrical insulation, resistance, and winding performance, ensuring the safe operation of the motor.
All production is fully tested, and the following tests are conducted:
- Ohmic Resistance Measurement (temperature compensated)
- Dielectric Strength Tests
- Surge Tests
- Reversal Tests
- Rotation Direction Tests
- Partial Discharge Measurement during Dielectric Strength Tests
- Partial Discharge Measurement during Surge Tests
- Partial Discharge Inception Voltage (PDIV) Tests
- Insulation Resistance Tests
A final visual inspection of the entire winding is then performed, followed by measurements of head height, lengths, and dimensions according to specifications.
